The MadX includes the new “COMEUP RACE TEAM” hawse fairlead, manufactured from 1 inch thick 7075 aluminum bar. The Aluminum alloy 7075 is often used in transport applications, including marine, automotive and aviation, due to their high strength-to-density ratio. This thicker fairlead creates a larger throat radius surface for the synthetic rope to slide against, resulting in less stress on the synthetic rope, especially during high angle pulls.
